Hi! π
After quite the hiatus, ya girl is back with another post!
It's my birthday month, and I've been leaning heavily into Capricorn Season.
Creative juices are flowing. Inspiration has been struck.
Feeling good, feeling great.
These last few years, I have chosen a "Word of the Year" rather than a New Year's Resolution.
My word for 2023 is.....drum roll, please...Joy!
So, in the spirit of spreading a little joy, I just wanted to share with you some of the things I'm currently loving!
Keep scrolling to check them out and hear why I love them.

The return of yoga pants flared leggings brings my heart so much joy. You can find them just about anywhere, but I love this high waisted pair from American Eagle. They look super cute paired with this cozy sweatshirt or a cropped vest.
I'm always eager to try *most* new trends. When the Ugg Ultra Minis showed up on the scene, I had to have them, but they're on back order until March! π© If you're like me, and just can't wait that long, maybe these Ugg inspired booties will help you bridge the gap. Pair them your favorite high-waist jeans, your new flares, or with crew socks and leggings.

Since I officially entered my 30s last year, I vowed to really start taking good care of my skin. I told myself I was going to try Botox when I turned 30, but as of right now, I still haven't pulled the trigger. Instead, I've been investing in quality skincare from Beautycounter, and I really believe I can tell a difference in my skin! I also love that the company is committed to making safe and clean products. I've also tried Frownies, and while you feel like an absolute ding dong wearing them, I actually think they work too!

Some other beauty items I've loving are these reusable cotton pads that I bought in an effort to be more sustainable and eco-friendly. Use them to apply toner or take off your make-up and then toss them in the wash! I usually put them in a delicates bag just so they don't get lost. I also found this little sponge holder + travel case for my Beauty Blender that I've really enjoyed. Also makes a great gift!

Other great gift ideas are this ring dish, a cookbook from your favorite TikTok-er, @brunchwithbabs, and a modern stand to display it.
Speaking of gifts, a coworker and fellow Swiftie got me this Bejeweled bracelet for Christmas, and I'm in love. Not only is it pretty, each jewel represents one of T. Swift's albums! #nerdalert

My mother-in-law gifted me a Stanley Cup this year. Funnily enough, she was ordering something else from Amazon and the cup was delivered instead. Talk about a Christmas miracle! While I don't necessarily understand all the hype (I mean...it's just a cup), I definitely feel like one of the cool kids now.
Greg got me a Cloud Massager, and let me just tell you, this bad boy will change. your. life. A little bulky (it weighs 24 pounds) but so worth it. My legs are always sore and achy after a 12-hour shift at the hospital, and this massager has helped so much. Flip it one way to massage your feet, and then flip it the other way to get your calves.
As mentioned before, I'm deep into Capricorn season and feeling the urgent desire to refresh and renew. I get this way every January, and basically...if it's not tied down, it's subject to change in some way. I've been marinating in The Home Edit rules (also got their books for Christmas) and trying to get my closet in order. I'm selling lots of things on Poshmark, and hanging the things that are staying on these velvet hangers. They're my favorite because they make the closet look pretty, and clothes don't slip off of them.
And with organization comes πCALENDARSπ! While I use the calendar on my phone for most things, I LOVE having a paper calendar on the refrigerator where I can write things down in glittery ink and draw cute little pictures. This calendar is magnetic so you don't have to use a hook or clip!

In the last few years, I've really been bitten by the travel bug (should I do some travel posts? π€). This carry-on suitcase is top rated, and it even has a built-in phone charger! It's just begging me to put a trip on my fridge calendar!
Hope you've enjoyed this latest run down of my favorite things. Is there anything you're currently loving? Are you thriving or just surviving this Capricorn Season?
What would you like to see next on the blog? As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
Thanks for stopping by!
XOXO,
